Vintage Juliana Jewelry was manufactured by DeLizza & Elster Company. It is now commonly called D&E jewelry. They were in business from 1947 - 1990. They are most known by their 5 link lines; bracelets and necklaces with 5 oval or rectangular links. That was the line with hang tags stating Juliana which were made in 1967 & 1968. Juliana was a company named after Frank DeLizza's mother, but the jewelry was manufactured by DeLizza and Elster. The jewelry themselves were never signed unless they made them for another company. Over the years and through tons of research and finding the owner, we have found that they did 1000's of pieces of different jewelry. There is yahoo discussion group devoted exclusively to this company and their jewelry that I am a member of. If interested, visit my links page. The most common things to look for are the 5 links, big and bold designs, re-enforcements of rivets and/or rings and "puddling". Of course not all or maybe none of these things may be present but they are good indications. See examples and other companies that they manufactured for below. I've created this page just as a reference. These are D&E pieces that I have or have had that have been confirmed as D&E aka Juliana Jewelry. Some of these maybe for sale on this site. Click here for current D&E for sale! Click on pictures for larger views. What to look for when identifying DeLiza & Elster Jewelry.
